NCCI - Student Portal

About

NCCI's student portal was commissioned to provide a modern, convenient platform as an alternative to more well known systems such as Moodle. It allows tutors to create courses and assignments and allocate students to them. Students can use the portal to submit assignments and download important course information and resources. The site alerts tutors to new submissions via email and they can log into the portal to view and download the files. Students are informed when assignments are due and if they have submitted any assignments after their deadlines.

The portal was built onto an existing site in Craft CMS 2 using custom plugins. There was added complexity to this project as
